History

Rudolf Ölz founded a small bakery in Dornbirn in 1938. A lot of commitment, an innovative spirit and tasty products meant that over the years the little business grew into an effective, internationally oriented company. Today, Ölz Meisterbäcker is one of the leading Central European manufacturers in the field of baked goods, toast and sandwich loafs.

The range includes over 100 products, from fine pasteries to sliced breads. On top of these we also have 30 seasonal products. Ölz products are baked each day and sold through the company's own delivery service.

More than 1.060 qualified staff ensure that our customers are supplied with fresh baked goods each day. As well as the home market of Austria, fine Ölz products find their way to Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
